Placemats
Artist: Danhui
Nai was born and raised in mainland China and now lives in the San
Francisco Bay area. She has a flower garden outside her studio and loves to
paint in the garden when weather permits. Her antique roses and other flowers
are among her favorite subjects. Danhui Nai paints with a variety of media
including watercolors, gouache, acrylics, oils and tempera. She uses a layering
technique to apply color.
Description: A
soft pastel palette of off-white and light pink roses against a brushed
background in sage-seafoam-green.
~ Constructed from hardboard and cork
backed. ~ Heat resistant up to 230ºF/110ºC.
~ Wipe with a damp cloth and
dry with a soft cloth – do not immerse in water. ~ Do not place cookware
taken directly from the oven onto placemats.
