Artist: The artist behind the
famous 'Polo Players' painting was Li Lan - born in 1558 in the Zhejiang
province, in east-central China.
Description: The
silk painting, which was brought by the Victoria & Albert Museum in 1910, is
so fragile that it is no longer on public display. Lady Clare's Ming Polo range
is mounted on black painted bases with gold edges and coated in a layer of
protective lacquer, with the pieces featuring four complementary designs.
Please Note: This design is a multi view design
featuring four different polo images.
Mats are finished with hard wearing lacquer
and heat resistant to 100°C (212°F). All mats are flock backed and
gift boxed.
